Rad TDP good enough?

Go to solution Solved by Dschijn,

Yes will be enough, but not super cool nor super quiet.

Could you please look at the info provided and evaluate if this radiator will be good enough to dissipate heat (TDP) generated by Cpu + Gpu loop given that I won't OC anything:

Cpu: 8700k

Gpu: Strix 1080ti 11G

Radiator: 320 x 145 x 45mm; FPI: 16 (EK-CoolStream CE 280 )

Fans: 140 mm High-pressure fans expected to run at about 800-1000 rpm (EK-Vardar EVO 140S BB)

Other coponents: Can be found in EK-KIT P280 (+EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Strix RGB - Nickel, some other fittings...)

Case: Meshify C mini;

Room temp: about 18-24 degrees;

I have read quite a few guides that say that 140 mm per components should be ok if not OC, but I wanted to provide some more specifics and see what people that are more experienced with water cooling have to say. (as every gpu and cpu have their own TDP and 140 mm per component rule of thumb can't be universal).

Thank you 4 being awesome! <3

As long as you don’t expect a lot and don’t mind turning the fans up.
