Sadly I'm dealing with someone who used to be tech savvy (well, 2 people, both my dad and my mom) and both have some sort of hatred against AMD.

Hell I was being said I was wrong when I asked to get a 1050ti because the Geforce cards are old.

This is from someone who is tech savy now and is keeping up to date as well as he can.

Hatred is bad for everyone, this will include your parents.

This is more expensive and its a pretty tight budget. Plus does that Ryzen have onboard Video, or do we have to buy a graphics card aswell?

For more storage we will use the 1TB WD Blue drive thats on her current PC.

Sorry, i used the wrong currency. Give me 5min.

Ryzen G series have onboard video. Much faster than intel which allows for better hardware acceleration in software like chrome

Updated tl correct currency. It can be built cheaper if you want to risk a unlikely hassle of ordering a bootkit and updating BIOS.

^^Cheaper build

You can also drop by another ~30£ if you wanna opt for the new athlon with vega 3 graphics

Seriously, ANYTHING AMD has is better at this price point than what Intel has to offer.

Yea I KNOW, but there is very little I can do. I'll try to get them to buy AMD but it will take some negotiating.

Looks good. Note the new athlon Vega 3 can run with any BIOSes. So if you take that you can also get an A320 board at the same time to save even more money.

Note the new athlon vega 3 is essentially a pentium with better graphucs performance

I mean if shes actually tech savy how can she negotiate raw numbers and facts about new AMD processors or the fact that Geforce cards are top of the line? AMD had dominated Intel in the iGPU market this year, and this website shows it. https://wccftech.com/amd-raven-ridge-ryzen-apu-vega-gpu-graphics-performance/ She should be happy that Intel is finally under some pressure to innovate.

They're not currently tech savvy thats the problem. They used to be tech savvy and know they act like they are.
