I have a problem with finding the best stream settings for my twitch stream.
I am using OBS and sometimes have a bit crappy/laggy stream.

Not so good in OBS and settings yet, and i tried to google, but just became confused.

I am using windows 64 bit

CPU: Intel Core I5-7600k OC'd to 4.8ghz

GPU: MSI Nvidia GTX 1050 TI - 4GB - overclocked in msi afterburner = core clock +150 and memory clock +250

Ram: 16 GB Crucial DDR4 2400Mhz

Motherboard: MSI Z270 SLi Plus

I was wondering if i should use x264 og NVENC H.264, since my cpu is better than my gpu right?
I am also streaming mostly fortnite and a bit of league og legends at the moment.

Here is also a gyazo link with a picture of the lowest test out of 10 with speedtest.net to see my internet speed.

x264. NVENC codes though your GPU and generally loses quite a bit of bitrate (pun intended) due to the encoding process. Twitch increased the bitrate cap from 3500 to I believe around 6000 for non-partners sometime last year. I would recommend streaing at either 720p 30fps 2800 kbps or 720p 60fps 3500-4000 kbps, with preference going to the first. The reason being, when you are a small streamer, you want everyone who watches to be able to actually watch. If you have too high a bitrate, some people will experience buffering and go watch someone else. You can also do 1080p 30fps 3500-4500 kbps, and 1080p 60fps with as high a bitrate as possible, if that's what you want to do. That will be very taxing to your CPU though.

Other settings:

CPU Usage Preset: Faster or higher (veryfast, etc)

Profile: high

Video settings:

If your monitor is 1440p and you're scaling to 720p, use "Downscale Filter: Bicubic". If any other (1080p to 720p, 1440p to 1080p), use "Lanczos".

In advanced settings you can also change Process Priority to Above Normal if you're getting random dropped frames or something similar. I'd encourage you to play around with some settings and/or read about them on the OBS forums. It certainly helped me. Good luck!
