low fps

So guys i have a problem.

I have very bad fps on many games and my configuration is : 1050 ti, i5 6500, 8gb ram

i reached out to service where i bought pc and they said it nothing wrong and tha this is normal for this class of graphics card but i know it not ture.

 

I get 75-85 fps on CSGO with bad fps drops.

Even when I put it on low or high its same performace.

60 fps on Fortnite.

What do i do? help please.

 

Edit: I did update drivers. I cleaned pc.

If it is not a fresh install then try running defrag , clear registry and check for malware... these are good practice even if they don't fix it.

Is it a new build? If not has this issue always been there?

80 FPS in CS GO is pathetic, you should be getting way over 200 FPS or something, clearly there's something wrong, have you tried setting the Power Plan in Windows to "High Performance"?

i bought it last year,but i couldnt really play games because i was busy,but now i do. bu i remember that the day i bought it it was fine,i was getting around 200 fps and week after it was like this now

also, i reinstalled win10 so it shouldnt be viruses fault.

Open a task manager while running the game and try to get a better idea of what is trottling it, is there any other programes running according to task manager that are not needed?

 

Try checking you Nividia settings, right click the desktop and go NIVIDIA control panel and hen check the preffered graphics card is not running on default/intel.

Did you plug in monitor cable into mainboard instead of graphic card?

i defragged pc and fps has slightly improved but still it's not how it should be.

how to clean the registry?

I dont know much, but my fps were terrible (normally okay) so i defragged, didnt work. So i factory resetted, worked!! However, about a month later, it happened again. So i ran a virus scan on it. 872 viruses. I cleaned it and my fps were much better
