Network FSX help

So I'm hosting a server for a Flight Simulator X Steam Edition Community and they can all connect but me. No matter if I try LAN or over steam, it doesn't work. I've tried inviting myself into the game, but that won't work either. Any suggestions?

Is this local or over the Internet?

If your friends are trying to connect over the Internet, then have you made sure to Port Forward the FSX server?
