nvidia shield built into TV's

If sony, lg, samsung any other tv manufactures teamed up with nvidia to include a nvidia shield built into the tv I would consider purchasing it.

RCA has roku built in but compared to the shield is is crap.

Think there would be a market for this? I am not talking about the BFGD nvidia announced last year. This seems to be more of a high refresh rate monitor compared to a every day tv

BFGD's are highly overpriced LCD's. So any VDU enthusiast knows to stay away from them.

As for a TV with a NV Shield built in, it would fall into the same category, you can guarantee it would be overpriced.

Untill display manufactures stop using backlit LCD tech, anything new that comes out is going to be overpriced for what it is.

OLED, 'Proper' Micro-LED, and AM-LED ('true' Quantom Dot) are the displays that need pushed into mainstream to replace current pos LCD displays, once that is done we can start bolting on accessories.

I just want to cut down on the amount of equipment I have.

Already dropped all me physical media, players and combined everything into the shield.

Still don't know if one can back feed from a TV to a receiver for the latest dolby atmois

Media cabinets are the way to go for a lot of hardware. What are you trying to backfeed exactly?

Just like when "4k" came out, it wasn't for consumers, it was for pro-sumers. Look at the OLED tv's, they are pricy, but are worth it imo, even with their issues, they are far superior tv's as far as performance. If the "shield" was built into a tv, it wouldn't be for a consumer, just like nVidia's new tv isn't, it's for the prosumer, and they will only sell a couple thousand, maybe, and probably built to order. They build it to innovate, but to also create. Sony sells a 100" 4k tv, not because it's practical or even worth it, but because someone bought it. That tv is built on order fyi lol

my idea setup is a tv on the wall and speakers in the wall. no shelf, wires or anything.

I know tv's have an optical out option.

I also know most people have a android box or apple tv they use all the time.
