Hardware keyboard intercept for macro

Does anyone know of a device that you can plug your keyboard into then plug into your computer, that will capture your keyboard commands then relay those commands to your computer? With the idea being you can pre programing it to relay a set or difference commands then what was received.

Basically making whatever keyboard you plugin to it a fully programmable keyboard?
