Is there any kind of list that compares all the Nvidia gpus? I'm looking for a list because sometimes software will say requires a GTX 560 or higher which isn't a powerful card but there's no reason why a Quadro p4000 wouldn't be able to handle that same workload at least in my opinion. Is there anything that compares like minimum system requirements?

i9 9820x @4.2 - MSI X299 Sli plus - 32gb Quad DDR4 G.skill3400 - MSI Gaming x 2070 Super - EVGA 1300 SupernovaG2 Gold -  500NVME WD Blue & Optane 32gb + WD Blue4tb - Enermax 360Aio - Vigor GK80 - MSI DS200 - Dual MSI Mag 271R

building - supermicro x9 - e5-2660 128gbddr3

supermicro x8 - e5648 24gb ddr3

Like this?  Looks like the 560 is the better card in most cases.

So in a cad workstation I should ditch my quadro for a 560?

it happens. but workstation cards are meant for doing 3d rendering. but newer cards going to be better than an older workstation one. to answer your question i would recommend using userbenchmark to build your current pc and then compare you hardware with the 560. look at the workstation part more so than the gaming or desktop rating though. it's not a 100% accurate but it gives you a really good ballpark figure. i have a friend that uses a 1060 for moderate 3d rendering software. i even used my 760 before i got a r9 390x. play around with the userbenchmark build and compare feature though. here's the link:   http://www.userbenchmark.com/PCBuilder

userbenchmark is pretty shit for non-gaming stuff

it considers the p6000 worse than the 1080 ti.

they have different jobs as seen in linus's do you really need a quadro.
