I just bought a slightly used Schiit Stack 1.0 off Ebay. I opened it up and plugged it in, and nothing happened. The Dac won't show that its connected for some reason. I tried multiple ports on different computers with different operating systems and it doesn't show up. Both units turn on and appear to work perfectly but refuse to show up in windows. Please help.

First I would try connecting it then booting your PC to see if it needs to install the driver during the boot process. If that doesn't work search the internet to see if there is a driver that is needed in case it doesn't install one itself.

Another possibility would be to use the Device manager and search for plug and play hardware.

Lastly, if you are comfortable opening the DAC, check to see if the cable is making a good connection on the inside. While inside check and see if you can find any burns or cracks on the traces (The copper layout on the board). Although since the DAC boots, it could just be an issue with the USB connection.

The drivers provided by Schiit are weird and require the device to be plugged in to install them but the dac isn't showing up as connected so I can't install drivers. Also, the unit itself works perfectly, I'm listening using it connected to my phone as I type, its a windows software problem.

Try the device manager tricks. Search for Plug and play hardware or boot the computer while it is connected.
