SPECS: i7-8700k 1070TI 16GB DDR4 2133mhz. 

Monitor: dell ultrasharp u2715h 1440p 60hz

 

Anywho I get stuttering in pretty much every game I play, HOWEVER, I notice that the FPS count doesn't drop at all, but I see it.

 

I only have a handfull of games where this problem doesn't occur, like Shadow Of War, TW Warhammer 2. 

 

But most games i play i experience frequent microstutters. For example: The Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Delivarence, Black Ops 3, PUBG, Gears 4 and even older titles like AC 3..

 

Black ops 3: 100+ FPS ( has one of the worst microstutters of them all. 

WItcher 3 : 70-100 FPS( HAIRWORKS OFF)

KCD: 30-70 FPS

PUBG:100+

Gears 4: 100+ FPS

AC 3: 100+FPS

 

I use Nvidea FastSync and i play in 1440p.

 

 

 

EDIT: I bought this PC Pre-build not 2 months ago. I really should not be having these problems.

do you get constant 60FPS in all of these games?

And what about without any "Sync" of any kind enabled? Still happens? Are you overclocked on the GPU? What about when you monitor the performance (using proper applications) while playing. You should see something happening. You're probably bottlenecked by the 1070Ti I hate to say, but I couldn't be sure.

I use Nvidea FastSync. I bought my PC from a PC building company. I paid extra to overclock my CPU ( Considering i know nothing about how to overclock) whether or not the GPU is overclocked, I don't know. I measured my FPS using Geforce's overlay.

 

About the bottleneck, there are a couple of youtubers that i watch that have also paired the 8700K with the 1070ti, so i dont think that is an issue ( i could be very wrong)

some games support limiting the FPS, have you tried limiting it to 60 FPS to avoid being out of sync to the monitors refresh rate?

Hmm no, someone told me i should use fastsync rather than vsync. but i'll try using Vsync. Although KCD doesnt even reach 60fps in the city, and i still experience microstutter,,
