so,

I decided to play the battlefield 5 beta today. And after half an out i gave up and uninstalled it. i dont know what it is but the game just did not feel right the movement the aiming just felt wrong. I had the same problem with Battlefield 1. I compare the last battlefield game that i played the shit out of was 4 which i would say i was good at. But anyway back to the discussion at hand. normally with most games they click after about 10 mins and i find i can hold my own but this despite not doing badly the game felt wrong. So chronologically DICE after releasing bf4 released battlefront 1 and after that came battlefront 2. what i wonder is that they changed something about the design of the engine or (im not a game designer) just something has changed but there is no rhyme or reason to it, it just feels not like i would say a battlefield game plays like.I had the same with COD ghosts that the game felt off and i stopped playing it really quickly when i felt it was not how i wanted it to feel as an example.

what did you think?

do you feel the same?

I haven't played enough to get a thorough idea of how much I'm going to like/hate it yet. So far I like it more than BF 1 at least.

The game itself is actually pretty decent Arguably the best looking title there is thus far of the franchise.

I found the game needs some serious work in terms of optimisation.

DX12 runs like rubbish on my GTX 1080 and found that DX11 ran better.

I found tinkering with the settings a bit helped.

would agree that its the best looking one in the franchise, but even on a 240hz monitor (not that i get 240fps but still) i find it very very hard to see other players because there is so much effects happening on the screen at once. and as the OP said something just doesnt feel right. i get the realism movement factor but it just feels sluggish or something.

otherwise the performance is great on my behalf but im running on Windows 10 1607, not the newest 1803 built.

this is a kind of game that would more or less interest me for the singleplayer aspect, and even then more in therms of graphics quality than anything else
