I recently got an SSD for my computer (finally) and one problem I experienced soon after was that occasionally the computer would start up but the Nvidia graphics driver which I had installed earlier wasn't working, a restart fixed the problem, this started happening more and more and it has now gotten to it's current stage, 60-70% of the time the computer will start up without the driver. Yesterday I had to restart it three times before it worked! I have tried re-installing the driver a few times now; when the installation is finished it says it needs the computer to restart. This however, is no more effective than a normal restart. Going back to when I first had the issue, originally the problem would only occur after Windows updated, but now it does it all the time. One other thing I've noticed it that when the driver doesn't work, the screen will go blank for a while after saying "Starting Windows" and then come back and show the lock screen from what I can tell the computer it completely frozen during the duration of the blank screen.

In case it's important I'm running a GT 1030 and Windows 7

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.
