Would my led strips fry my PC if the power goes out?

DOGEY
Go to solution Solved by Crunchy Dragon,

If the power goes out, the only thing in any real danger of frying something is the PSU.

I've never heard of LED lighting frying a motherboard, or anything else for that matter.

So i buy a HUE+ before 2 days and i remember that the guy in the tech shop that was getting ready my led strips said that there are chances the led lights to fry my Motherboard he said why they can burn it but i forget what he said. And i was thinking...If my power goes out will the lights fry my motherboard? I am not sure but i think most motherboards have protection but i am not sure. Motherboard: Asrock Z370 Pro4. And if my motherboard does not have protection should i get some kind of external power supply? Any help is appreciated :)
