Hey, i'm researching parts for a pc build where im looking for around 120fps 1080p gaming and possibly 1440p but I dont think I will be going into 1440p gaming. But anyway, these are the components I have chosen, can anyone tell me if any bottleneck each other, do I need an extra fan or am I missing any required componentents. Any advice appreciated!

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 19 MB Cache 65 W CPU with Wraith Stealth Cooler

SSD: Adata XPG SX8200 NVMe PCIe M.2 480GB

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3 TB SATA III Serial ATA Hard Drive

Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK

GPU: GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP 2.0

Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Air RGB MIDI tower - Black window

So those are the specs I have chosen is there any way I could save money but keep the same performance? I'm going to be OC'ing the build. Also I am unsure of the PSU and it would be nice if any kind soul out there would care to calculate it going to be using Gaming headphones/keyboard/mouse and a BenQ Zowie XL2411P 24 inch 144Hz monitor.  -- Solved!

Thanks, Azure

--EDIT: This is impressive I've managed to boost the performance by alot even managing to fit a gtx 1080 by modifying the build and I've subtracted £60 thanks to the help of this thread, thanks guys! And since the next generation GPU's are releasing if I wait until next year I may save around a £100 - £300 due to price drops in the total cost of the build!

In order to calculate your power supply needs I would go into P.C. Part Picker and load up your build. It should give you an estimate of how much power on avg the build will draw.

Once you get this number you'll want to get a power supply with a couple times that amount. I go with no less than 3-4 but you just have to play around with it and see. Peak power vs avg is very different so you need high enough clearance to run it under load without any hiccups

**EDIT**

as far as saving money goes just follow basic buyers principles. Don't pay for features you don't need. If you only need 1 PCI E port, 4 USB ports and 2 ram slots. Don't pay for a board with 8 ram slots 8 PCI E ports, 8 USB 3 ports and RBG If you have a closed in case. Just pay for what you need and then pay for what you want if you can afford it

Hey, I read online that a x470 board is better for overclocking but can a b450 board fit 2x8gb RAM?

yes. i'd get a 2600 and B450 board, use the money for a 1070ti/1080 instead.

Alright, thanks for the advice so I've downgraded the 2600x to a 2600 and taken out the 1070 for a 1080 instead for around the same price, any recommendations for a good B450 motherboard?

Hi I was looking at the SSD you recommended and came across one with faster reads but less space would the XPG 480GB NVME SSD run faster? Heres the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ADATA-ASX8200NP-480GT-C-GEN3X4-SSDSX8200-Solid/dp/B07BLMP9ZT/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1535904330&sr=1-1&keywords=ADATA+ASX8200NP-480GT-C+480+GB+M.2+2280+PCIe+GEN3X4+SSDSX8200+Solid+State+Drive+-+Black
