Air cooling for APU Budget build

WestTexan

Ryzen 5 2400g

GTX 1050 ti

Raidmax v4 case

500W PSU

1tb WD blue 7200rpm

8gb ddr4 2666mhz ram

Is this enough:

Wraith cooler fan for cpu

Case comes with 1 fan

Raid max cobra rifle 80mm case fan

Is this enough fans? Should I get 2× 80mm fans?

I'm getting the apu because I'll be using it until I get the GTX 1050 ti.

BTW I haven't built my pc yet

Should be fine. None of those are hot running components in the first place.

But why do you get an APU with dedicated GPU?  Also your PSU is over kill.

Is your 8GB DDR4 kit a Dual Channel kit?

If not, I would recommend going with a Dual Channel Kit (2 DIMMs) for better performance.

Main PC: R7 3700X / Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro Wifi / Radeon RX 5700 XT / 32GB DDR4-3200 / 250GB & 2TB Crucial MX500 (in HP Prodesk 400 Case)

Laptop: R5 2500U / Radeon Vega 8 / 8GB DDR4-2400 / 500GB SK Hynix BC501 (HP Envy x360 13)

My little Server: i7-7700 / Asrock H110M-ITX / 24GB DDR4-2400 / Samsung 860 Pro 250GB & Seagate Firecuda 2TB / VMware ESXi 6.7

(Don't tell me i should Name them, i don't want to ^^)

The best place to get info for GTA 5 is from Paul’s video on the APUs.He always does a huge in-depth benchmark using that title a lot.

You should be able to hit 1080p medium 60fps in most games with that apu.

I would have one 120mm fan as an intake, and one as an outtake.

There are loads of sff 1050ti's, so if you are scared gpu won't fit just get them.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Thanks!

Conclussion :

The games I listed will be able to run on the apu and I should get 2×120mm fans. One as intake, the other as outtake.

Right?

I've actually watched a lot of this apu being benchmarked and all of them say it can run GTA V

The apu is pretty much a gt1030, so it can run pretty much every game at 1080p medium, just make sure you allocate as much ram to it as possible in bios.

Yes, 1 intake and 1 output is pretty common for a fan setup.

But i would get a b450m mortar if possible, it should cost the same but it is much better.

I see its only a slightly more expensive. If it will make a difference in gaming performance then I'll buy it.

The b450m mortar supports the apu out of the box, without the need for bios update. It also has better vrms, so you can overclock higher.

If that is too expensive then b450m bazooka plus is also a solid choice.

Sounds great! I'll get the B450 mortar instead.

You think the Ryzen 2400g paired with a GTX 1050 ti will be good enough to run any game?

I plan on getting the GTX 1050 ti after my pc is built.

Just to clarify : A mid tower atx case should be compatible with Micro ATX and atx motherboards, right?  (Raidmax V4)

Yeah 1080p you will be able to play all the games.

Most cases are compatible with both mobo sizes(you can put matx mobo into atx case)
