So how do they edit all at once off the NVMe server for projects? Is adobe premier on the server or on their local machines? I'm getting curiosity pangs...

Also, is it possible a team member can edit on the go to that server if connected thru a VPN of some sort? Provided a fast enough internet connection, like the hotel for gamers? That'd be cool, working off the LTT projects server from halfway around the world.

#1: Adobe Premier is installed on their local machines individually, but they acess the project files directly from their file server named Whonnock. Each local machine has 10Gbps network connection, and Whonnock server has 40Gbps network connection (I'm guessing 4 x 10Gbps NICs). Each editor peaks at almost 4Gbps when scrubbing or editing. Assuming that they still use Intel 750 SSDs on Whonnock, read speed is about 2.4 GB/s. I'm also guessing that there are around 4-5 editors doing work at a time so this setup helps them edit without encountering bottlenecks, if not very little. You can check it out more here:

#2: I don't think they have a VPN setup since LMG requires the editors to work directly at their office and have a valid Canadian working permit. And he also mentioned here that they won't consider remote work:

I think there was an instance that they have to edit outside their office, but they have to save all the project files on an external storage.
