Okay so people say this is one of the worst air coolers besides an intel stock. For me, this thing has been pretty good. My i3-8100 @ 3.6Ghz never got above 45c. Being on the desktop for around an hour would get about 30c. Gaming 35c to 45c. Also I have it going around 900rpm. Please explain why it is so good for me? Also i'm doing gaming like GTA V. Also just wanted to tag @seoz since she hates Hyper coolers. So I would like to know what you think about it seoz?

You have an i3-8100.

So it will just still normally cool like that?

The 8100 is not a hard CPU to cool at all, it's a quad-core at 3.6GHz with no turbo, you expect it to be running hotter than that?

Yeah. I tho it would at least be a little hotter.

The Hyper T2 isn't much, but it is significantly better than the stock cooler. The i3-8100 is a locked 65W CPU without hyperthreading, so it's not going to be a difficult part to cool. The point of using even a basic aftermarket cooler on a CPU like the -8100 is noise. As you've mentioned, your cooler is running at a (presumably) damn-near-silent 900RPM, and the Intel stock cooler under load would be all WOWWWWWRRRRREEEEOOOWWWWWWWWERRRRRRRRRRERRRRROOWOWWWWOWOWOWWWWWWWRRRRRORRRRRWWWWWWWW

You get the point.

I won't spread the hate amongst all Hyper coolers, but I will say that anyone in the US spending more than $15 on a cooler with "212" in the name in 2018 is making a poor decision when the Gammaxx 400 is out there.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Only point to get something else than stock on i3/i5 locked CPUs is noise. Your temps are pretty much same as I would expect stock cooler to deliver, well maybe bit higher under load.
