I recently built a new computer and it’s been acting weird lately. It’s been spitting out multiple blue screens like “Machine Check Exeption” and “WHEA Error”. Now when I finally get it working. 2 mins into browser and bam. My pc lagged so much that it makes my average prebuilt look like a high-end machine. I need help, can anyone help me trace this down?

Plus my processor is locked and all I Did was enable XMO. But the system turned it off automatically, and my 1070 was not over locked at all. I tried switching graphics but same thing.

Your post is extremely vague. It boils down to "things are bad, halp." Give us some details, like specs and such

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Built my system a week ago. All drivers are updated recently. I’m running Windows 10 Home N, and I recently did a system restore point but it still happens.

(EDIT): I can get into safe mode without lagging so its not a hardware issue and most likely a driver issue.

So how long after you built it did the problems arise? Did it happen all at once or gradually?

I built it about 1 week ago. And it worked fine. Then yesterday last night. I went to go eat and then when I came back my PC started lagging like crap, I did a reset and BAM, BSOD. The only fail it said was “Machine Exeption Error”. But the problems are just happening like one by one. First it was a overclock (aka XMP) And then something else.

I also ran memtest86 and no problems found. The BSOD codes just keep spitting crap out.

try to reset BIOS to Optomized defaults.

does running Prome95 cause system freeze/crash

maybe remove all but 1 memory stick and move it from slot to slot and see if crashing stops.

provide pictures of BSOD if possible

Small FFTs with Prime95 and should test the L1/L2 caching for problems
