Mirroring a boot drive

Running out of space on a 128gb SSD (Kingston HyperX) and want to migrate the OS and all data onto a 256gb Samsung 840 Pro. I dont have enough Sata ports to keep both drives in the computer permanently because I plan on adding a bunch of hard drives to my pc. Using windows 7 home premium. Any help is appreciated, what software to use, if I dont even need software and I can just use windows, etc.
