Hey everyone,

so ive been using pcpartpicker to try and plan my first build. Its going to be primarily a gaming rig, but also used for some uni stuff. Im trying to keep it as close to $2500 AUD as possible and im pretty happy with what ive got, but seeing as this will be my first build i was hoping some people could double check that all these parts would suit each other or if you guys have any suggestions/replacement parts. Ive made the list here https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/hpdP8Y. Id especially love some suggestions on motherboards and powersupplies as ive got no idea about that stuff.

the G3 has issues with protections, look for an RMx, TXM or G2 instead.

If the plan is to overclock, get a better cpu cooler. Otherwise, get an i7-8700 and an H370 motherboard.

As others have suggested, the G3 has some issues. The 650W G2 would be a very good choice.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
