So I've built quiet a few computers but they've always been for gaming and I feel quiet comfortable in that space. I don't know a lot about video editing and I've been doing some research and I have 3 questions for all of you video editors here :). Video and Photo editing will be done with Adobe.

1. I'm looking at either the Ryzen 7 1800x or 2700x. The 1800x is $100 cheaper and I don't think the performance bonus is worth the price difference. Let me know if I'm wrong and why.

2. I was thinking of using a gtx 1060. Should I go with 6GB or 3GB?

3. A monitor with solid colour coverage under the $500-&600 price range. 4k would be a nice addition.

Thank you in advance to any suggestions or advice that's given <3.

With the 1800x being on sale it's going to cost me essentially the same price as the 2600 that the computer store has (1800x is only 30$ more).

and you will have to buy a cooler so at least 50$ more. prob 70 if you want a decent cooler
