Hi,

Im having quite some troubles with my new pc setup. My fps are dropping in every game resulting in stuttering (fps drops are like 140 -> 120). I've noticed that every single time this is happening my gpu usage is dropping aswell (95-99% -> 60-85%). it's also possible to reproduce the issue, if a spot in a game causes the issue once it will cause it over and over again at the same spot. Lowering ingame settings results in lower fps higher settings result in higher fps.

The problem occurs in games that are on my ssd aswell as in games that are on my hdd.

Energy setting are set to max. performance in windows, bios and nvidia.

All the drivers are up to date. (tried different drivers aswell)

It's also happening when v-sync is enabled.

Clean install of windows didn't solve the problem.

CPU usage is at 40-50%

Memory usage 45-50%

CPU 60-65°

GPU 70-77°

I mean the problem is probably unknown because at first I thought your CPU was bottlenecking your GPU but your CPU is new. Hmm, I need some info. When and WHERE did you get your GPU?

Then the problem is unknown. Unless you wanna risk your warranty you can take off the Backplate and the Front-plate (i'm not sure what its called) and investigate for yourself.
