As the title says - my pc posts when I turn it on - then shuts off - then posts again and starts up fine. I've noticed this only happens when I OC my cpu and ram. I reset to default and it posts and starts up to windows. When OC'd it posts - shuts off - posts again and works like normal until next reboot after shutting down for the night. My pc specs:

Is there any problems with this type of startup or can I just leave it as is? I have OC'd my CPU to 3.7ghz @ 1.3v - wraith cooler - Ram is set on D.O.C.P 3 for 2400mhz as thats the max of my ram at this moment in time.

Thanks in advance.

make sure you updated the bios, latest bios was in Apr this year.

this looks fine to to me, reset bios may help

I am on the latest bios update - and it is fine when I reset bios. Once I OC my cpu and put my ram to 2400 - it does the post - shut down - post.

This sounds like memory training. Ryzen systems are known for this.

As long as it eventually boots you should be ok, but some people prevent this behavior with slightly higher DRAM voltages.

Alright - thanks x) And thanks again for the other topic I posted x) I guess I'll wait till I get my new ram and see if it still does it. It posts for 1 second - shuts off for 2 - then just starts up normally. So I guess I shall leave it for now.

No, problem. Have you tried bumping up your DRAM voltage just a little bit? And some boards have a separate value for DRAM boot voltage which you can set a little higher than what you actually run it at.
