RAM Cooling Kits?

I've seen Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM cooling kits. Are those universal? In that they connect to the motherboard or the RAM slots? Or do they attach to the RAM sticks?  I know I could do some research myself, but I want to crowdsource this in the hopes I can hear from someone that has first hand experience. Also, it doesn't matter who the manufacturer is per se. As long as it is more or less universal.

I have a fan pointed at my RAM currently, but it isn't as elegant a solution as I would like.

All of the OCing. I run my RAM at the edge of stability so temps actually do matter.

fair enough. usually tamps doesnt matter in ram (within rated frequency and standard OC). youve got some spicy voltage going on then
