Stability Problems since using Bluetooth Headphones

Hey Guys,

 

I bought myself some Bluetooth Headphones and an Bluetooth Adapter [Asus USB-BT400].

But since I am using them my Internet connection is getting unstable to the point where I have 200+ Ping or have no Signal every few minutes

I get my Internet connection via Ethernetcable from an Repeater in my room [Maybe the bluetooth signal is disrupting it?]

What model repeater?

If the repeater uses 2.4GHz band then its very possible the bluetooth is causing interference.

It is very well possible the Bluetooth and WiFi are interfering with each other.

You can try switching to 5ghz(if it doesn't already) or changing channels if it supports it.

Probably in the settings, check the manual.

You cant. What you have only does 2.4 Ghz.

How is repeater connected to the main network and does it also repeat the WiFi signal (I'd kinda expect to repeater to do that, otherwise its not really a repeater)?  If it is and linking to the router over WiFi then that alone is asking for trouble as it doubles your network traffic, halving the speed.  Its going to be particularly inefficient if several devices are connecting to the repeaters WiFi.

 

I only get 20-30Mbit over 2.4Ghz at the best of times, compared to 300-350Mbit over 5Ghz.
