So from what I understand the G-sync Model laptops have g-syn as an option with 1070's and above but the description on this laptop says it has g-sync on a 1060 but with 3gb of vram when the same model number from a different seller has essentially the same specs but with 6gb of vram and no mention of g-syn from what i can see. I was looking for a laptop with at least a 1050ti preferably with g-sync at 15.6 in i had some help on this forum searching so im narrowing it down between these choices. But there is a refurbished version of an older model for around the same price if you believe this third choice is the better deal. Regardless I would still like to know about the description accuracy between the first two models and if i should just give up and go for the third option thank you in advance.

G-sync isn't the most important feature, but it's useful. I was looking at those laptops and it's a mix of with/without gsync. All mobile 10 series cards support g-sync so if you have a g-sync display then no problem! So it looks like the first laptop has it. My personal advice is to prioritize raw specs before focusing on g-sync compatible displays, with those cards a 120/144hz display should be fine

Before answering your question: DON'T buy Asus GL series with KBL-H CPU. They run hot

And yes, different models have different specs

Where are you from? Budget? Usage? Preferred max weight and battery life? Any special requirements?

G Sync was essentially the final feature i would like to have i played on my previous laptop without it and i just dealt with it but it did have a 960m so nothing to be excited about. I Currently play on a g-sync display the pg279q so i would like to keep g-sync on the laptop as well this time budget was 1300 and i was more confused as to why the 3gb vram option had g sync while the six didnt.  I found a video this morning stating that the 3gb version did indeed have g-sync so i will likely be going for that model and as far as temperatures go it's a laptop so i know high temps in demanding titles are expected. I think at 1300 i probably wont get anything crazy above the specs than i chose already but if you have a better option i would like to hear it the titles that are the most demanding i would think of would be Metal Gear 5, and Black desert Online, anything else isnt as demanding as these two.  Again its a laptop so I understand why it would have 2~hour battery life its not a big deal. 5ish Pounds seems fine and as far as special requirements go again g-sync was definitely preferred  and at least a 1050ti as far as the gpu goes so In my opinion the 1060 3gb vram with g-sync should be enough. I would likely be playing at slightly under 1080p or 720p since it is a smaller screen so i can get away with some higher detail settings here and there. thanks for the responses guys :)

Could you list out all 1050TI and 1060 laptops that are within your budget? (Preferably CFL-H)

Hi sorry for an extremely delayed reply, I did some digging around and this is what I was able to find.   Asus GL503VM and the Asus GU501GM. The second one being the one with the coffee lake processor. I dont believe I need anything more than the 7700HQ at least on a laptop even if the 8750 is on par with a 6700k from what ive seen with benchmarks. I am leaning towards the GL503 as it seems to fit what i need best unless there is a huge flaw i am missing. the other one lacks g-sync but still within budget but again i dont believe i would even use the full potential of the 7700hq.

Wait so I'm trying to understand what the hell fast sync is and from what i understand its g-sync/free sync when in action not in exactly the same way  but a slightly higher delay? and works with newer nvidia gpu's

It’s just what I saw that had the specs in my price range and I just figured all laptops overheat at loads because I mean it’s a laptop
