Shotgun Mics

Looking for mics that i can use to pickup everyone's voice in a D&D session. About once every week my friends and i get together in person to have your typical session, but inevitably there's always at least a few people that cant make it in person. Usually I'll bring my LAN box with me and ill plug in your basic 1080p web cam and a Mod Mic 5. The problem I've been having with the current mic is that its too quiet

My preference for the mic is that it would be a USB mic and on the cheaper side (i don't have a huge budget for it) and that it can sit on the table on its own

I don't think a shotgun is what you are looking for. I'm presuming you'll have a bunch of friends sat around a table. A better option would be an omnidirectional mic rather then a shotgun which is like the sniper of audio recording.

Have any good suggestions for that style of mic??
