Once you install Nvidia GeForce Experience, you can update your GPU drivers. The shadowplay @fpo spoke of will also be available to use once you start up a game. It will pop up and tell you what to press to start recording. 

 

Be sure to download and install Steam here... https://store.steampowered.com/

And for streaming, OBS is what most people use... https://obsproject.com/

 

You can also hop on YouTube and/or Twitch and/or Mixer to start streaming immediately.
