I'd suggest waiting and going for a 2070 all the way.

Considering the 2080 only has a 1% increase in performance vs the 1080Ti, its not worth it.

Some of us like me won't run a nvidia card no matter the price or the speeds it runs.Amd has more stable drivers,Better colors to my eyes,And i could care less about the whole 10 to 20 fps faster if im already over 100fps at 1440p.And the monitors a freesync one is a lot cheaper then a gsync one of the same specs.

So I have a freesync monitor, I'm Australian so the price for the 56 is $659 AUD & 64 is $749 AUD. My current card is a XFX HD7950, so either card is a massive upgrade of atleast 200% improvement across the board.

If you want to play at 1440p get the vega 56 if you want 4k depending the game get the vega 64.If you got case room look at the strix or the sapphire pulse for 56 or nitro for the 64.If you want to water cool later then the strix,The reason i say those cards they run a little faster and a lot cooler and quieter then a blower card will be.

uh, idk why you responded to me. I was just telling the guy who suggested the OP get a 2070 hasn't done his research.

Lol, hasn't done his research my ass. You don't have any LEGIT benchmark numbers of the 2070 yet you're assuming things. It will walk all over a Vega. I'm currently USING a Vega 64 Liquid and having to lock my memory to 800 to keep it stable. Thing is a fucking mess regarding some things like efficiency, but it is still a good card, I'll tell you that.

There, that fine with you AMD fanboys praising their drivers? I own both that card and 1080 Ti's.
