Hi I'm currently using an i5 3570k and the intel stock CPU cooler that comes with the CPU and I'm hitting 75-82 under load . Was thinking on getting the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus Direct Touch but will I see much of a differance with this air cooler from the stock intel one I have installed.

I would get the EVO it is about 5-10 dollars more (USD), and is significantly better.

If an aftermarket fan did not give you better temperatures than a stock cooler, it would simply not exist.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

I have the hyper 212 evo. I am running a FX-6300 OC'ed to 4.2ghz and under 100% load it never gets over 50 degrees Celsius.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

Push pull is not needed.

Evo is better and smoother surface, but has a crappy fan,

Plus gives a better fan, but not as smooth.

Its really your choice on which cooler to get.

yea those temps are pretty good but I think you shouldn't have played BF3 if the temps were that high. It could have weared your cpu very badly if you were running on those temps for a long time. Like Darell3 said its very amazing that your cpu didn't get any damage from that temp.
