I currently have TtEsports keyboard that's been acting up recently so I'm in the market for a new keyboard.

These are the two I'm looking at right now. I'm leaning more toward the Razer one cause I really like the RGB ripple effect and the individually lit keys. If one of these boards are known to be terrible or if someone smarter than me knows something better for around this price range, I'd love some recommendations.

budget?

neither are mechanical keyboards

Yeah I'm aware both are membrane, but I don't really mind too much. My budget is around $50-70ish. If there's a good mechanical one for around that price I'm unaware of I'd love that, but I'm a normie and care about how it looks a lot.

If you are leaning towards a keyboard that is solely designed for gaming and nothing else and you just want to rekt people at cs:go and everything else a Corsair k70 or k90 will do the job just fine with the cherry mx speed preset.

If you want a good mixture of gaming and typing then any cherry mx brown keyboards or a razer huntsman ( or elite ) will do the job.

Now if your like me and you don't give a fuck about gaming and as long as its better than a shitty membrane piece of shit keyboard and you just want to go all out for typing but still on the gaming side of things a cherry mx blue keyboard ( my fav is the poker 2 cherry mx blue ) or go for like a gskill keyboard bc those look sick af or if you want the best keyboard for typing like fucking ever go for a model m.

( in order)

Gaming Switches:

Cherry MX red

Cherry mx speed

Cherry mx black ( basically a cherry mx red with more resistance )

Romer G tactile

Matias Linear

A good mix between gaming and typing switches:

Razer opto switches

Cherry MX brown

Best typing experience ever imaginable

Buckling spring switches ( model m)

Novelkeys x kaihua box jade

Cherry mx blue
