I have a laptop (HP 450 G4). I bought it last August (2017) through school and my 3.5 mm input jack is corrupting all mic sound, to the point where it’s basically ear rape. I don’t know what happens or why. I have tried multiple headsets and earbuds (kraken pro v2, Astro A40, SteelSeries Arctis 5 and Apple earbuds) and the problem still persists, I borrowed the sound card that comes with the HyperX Cloud II from a friend, and when plugged in to a USB port the mic sounds Normal. I also tried the same headsets and earbuds on my iPad there the mic works normally. So my question is: do anyone know how to fix this and what causes it?
