Replacing RX570 4gb with new Asus Cerberus 1070ti

ckl_1981

Hi everyone i recently bought a RX570 4gb for 1080p gaming and i noticed that the new Cerberus 1070ti price is quite reasonable now i want to replace it but the RX570 only been used for about 3 month... should i hold on or change? Thanks. I am using a Ryzen 1500x on a x370 mobo, 16gb fury ram dual channel...

Would be kind of a waste to run anything higher on just a 1080p display.

wait for the 20 series to drop, upgrade to either a 4k 60hz display or 1440p 144hz display in the meantime, then buy a cheap used 1080ti in the future.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Do you feel like you're not getting the performance you want?
Otherwise the 570 is quite ample for 1080p gaming.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.
