I have that exact card oddly enough. With the button off (no blue LED), it has a lower power target and a 75*C temp target. With the button on (blue LED), it has a higher power target and 80*C temp target. Hope I helped.

it's merely a hardware switch for different vbios settings. You can still use software like Afterburner or TRIXX to manually take control on those things.

Are you saying it is locked at 500, and won't change, even if you adjust the memory clock slider / value?

By the way, why don't you use Sapphire TriXX instead of MSi Afterburner?

i watched a couple youtube videos and they where using afterburner that why also i just downloaded sapphire trixx what gpu voltage would you recommend and what stress test software is good to use with it because i tried using msi kombustor doesn't seem to work well with it

The amount of voltage needed will vary; you'll need to play around a bit.

 

You see some R9-Fury owners UNDER volting the cards for overclocks in the 1050 ~ 1130 range, and under +100mV for a few over that range. IMO, go up to ~1.2V, and see where that takes you.

 

The cooling is capable, but the power draw starts to climb once you start getting into the 1.2V ~ 1.3V region.

 

I haven't pushed my card too far, I have only gone up to 1150 MHz on the Core -- don't remember the settings used, will need to check. I was able to easily get 1125MHz with no voltage increase, and just using +25% on the Power Target.

 

As for HBM memory overclocking, you can squeeze a few MHz out of it, but don't expect much from the stock 500 MHz. I've only seen people put it up to +10%, bringing it to 550MHz. That said, memory bandwidth it not an issue...given it is HBM and on a 512-bit bus.
