Hi i am planning to build my own computer but i am not sure if this setup is compatible. Would appreciate any advise on its value for money or any substitution i should make!

Graphics Card: ASUS CERBERUS GEFORCE GTX 1070 TI ADVANCED EDITION 8GB GDDR5
cpu: Intel Core i5-8400 Coffee Lake 6-Core 2.8 GHz (4.0 GHz Turbo)
motherboard : GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 
DDR4: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO SATA III 2.5" SSD 250GB 
Power Supply: EVGA GD 650W 80Plus Gold Power Supply
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 275R Mid-Tower

If you are going for the i5 option on the Z370 board get the 8600K.

Get either a H370 board for that proc or get an 8600k or 8700k for that board.

i think i will change to a Asus ROG Strix H370-F Gaming motherboard to stay within my budget. is this setup value for money?

As I said above you could also look at B360 options.
