Moving to an SSD

My laptop has a mechanical hard drive and its starting to make clicking noises so i have backed it up and now i have an ssd and i need some help moving windows 10 to the ssd.

did the SSD come with a software key for any data migration software?

usually the windows 10 key is tied to the system

OR you can sign in to your windows 10 pc with a microsoft account and link the CD key to your account. that way you can activate it once you do a fresh reinstall of windows 10

 

OR consider spending another $20 and get a fresh new Win 10 Pro key from SCDKEY.com like i did

 

i have personally use all 3 options listed above with no issues
