I'm building my first setup and wanted to advice and suggestions on how to improve this build and if there will be any horrible bottlenecks or if the GPU/CPU is over/under powered. PSU, OS, HHD and case have been decided as these are being taken out of the current system i own (Bar the case but its small and sexy asf). I currently have a RX 460 GPU and an A10 6800K Processor. so any suggestions on using these in this build (like another RX 460 and not getting the GTX 1070) Thankss!

That memory is way too slow for the Ryzen. You need to go with 3000mhz or higher.....I would definitely do 16gb while you are at it.

i have one stick of "ADATA Premier Pro DDR3 1600MHz 8GB Memory Modules (AD3U1600W8G11-R)" should i just get another stick of it or invest in a new set of 16gb sticks?

Lots to fix potentially.

You don't need to buy windows you can install it for free from their media creation tool

I will definitely be looking for any deals on cards, any drawbacks with 2 RX460s or am i going in the wrong direction completely?

the problem with SLI and Crossfire, is that scaling is never 100%.  Best case, you are looking at 90%.  On average?  Somewhere between -10% and 80%.

Some games work really well, other not so much.

So if you know for a fact the games you play will scale well with multiple cards, sure.  but i recommend a much faster single card, than 2 lesser ones.

SLI stands for Scalable Link Interface.  Its Nvidias Dual cards working as one solution.

Scalable Link Interface is a brand name for a multi-GPU technology developed by Nvidia for linking two or more video cards together to produce a single output.

Crossfire is the same thing, but thats was AMD calls it instead of SLI.

Most likely just use your RX 460 until the 20 series launches September 20th

SAMSUNG C24F396 Full HD 24" Curved LED Monitor and budget is about £800-900 excluding PSU, HHD and maybe the 460 but that will soon go.

thanks, would i be facing any bottlenecks with a a10 6800k @ 4.3ghz  and rx460, i might just cheap out and get a new cpu (is assume the cpu is the bottleneck) for this build for the next year or so until i have a better budget

Is it 1080p 60hz or 144hz?

Either way just wait for the new GPUs, will be fastest at near the same price points anyways

Get a 240mm AIO at minimum, and a decent unit, not from coolermaster.

Save money on the CPU and get a better motherboard, if not then get an ASrock Pro4 B450 or MSI Tomahawk B450

and yes your CPU is the main bottleneck

yea, a CPU would be a good upgrade,  that will be holding you back.

If you want to stick with AMD.  R5 2600, and a 2400g is iGPU is valuable to you.

How about this? This list is including stuff i have already but i think it will leave it open to upgrade to the 20 series when they come out. Case Aesthetics are pretty important to me so yeah. coming in at "£547.68" before the 20 series come out and empty my purse . What performance improvements should i see before upgrading the card? How long will this system be acceptable for?
