Hello

Recently I bought new heaphones, which are DT 990 pro 250 Omh.

Im running them through my motherboard z87-45 which in theory can run up to 600Omh headphones. Sound is ok. But im lacking abit of juice.

So I thought to buy AMP/sound card for headphones, but since Im on the market for microphone right now and people suggest condenser mics.

I thought maybe I should buy some kind of USB audio interface that can AMP headphones and give phantom power to mic?

My question is. Does USB audio interfaces have good enough amp for headphones?

Budget is around 80.-

Thank you

My personal experience with Behringer products are pretty bad, they tend to be faulty a lot and break just out of warranty,If you live in a major city I would highly recommend checking out craigslist.Audio Interfaces such as the Tascam US-122L have aged pretty well and can be bought for around 20 dollars

I would gladly buy something like that, but i live in small country called Estonia. We have really small aftermarket for such things. My only option is buying new.

When i was searching for sound card people were saying that I need to look for dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio, the higher it is, the better sound quality will be.

I cant find any info about db or oms when I look at audio interface specs. Is there anything specific I need to look at when deciding between audio interfaces?

For games in which sound plays bigger part of immersion you'll want sound card and binaural sound simulation.

If your head shape is close to average with good headphones you'll get even feel of distance of sounds coming from farther away besides good directionality.

Just compare these two:
