Hi,

So we wanted an ethernet cable to the garret, because my wifi is pretty bad out there.. We have these tubes/pipes where you need to stick in the ethernet cable and then you need to pull out the ethernet cable (all that's done with a black small wire).

I've heard, and seen that you need to connect the black wire and the ethernet cable. So I pulled out the black wire without the attached ethernet cable... So now i'm 'fu*ked up'. I've already messaged some people for this, they say I need a tension spring. Is that really the cheapest and handiest way?

I hope ya'll get this, i'm from the Netherlands so my English is sometimes not very good..

They are just conduit's with a pull string I imagine. I've never seen one or worked with one that had a tension spring or anything. You should just be able to fish it through with a stiff wire or something though.

Going dutch mode:

Je hebt een trekveer nodig. Afhankelijk van de lengte kan dat een simpele goedkope zijn. Anders een bevriende elektricien vragen? :D

No idea what the actual translation is in english, its not a tension spring for sure :D
