Dual Channel Question

If I go for the 2x16 Dual Channel kit, does this mean If I ever need 64 GB I could just buy another kit of the same type?

 

or would I have to sell my kit and buy a 4x16 kit?

 

as long as the kit has the same speck or the exact same ramsticks with the same specs it should work fine. Ryzen 1 might be a bit finicky and refuse to run at the rated speed, but anything else should be fine. Ryzen 2 fixed that issue (mostly, as far as i know there are very few if any who have issues with this)

Definitely go for 2x16.
