TLDR at bottom.

I just bought a 512gb Addlink ssd and some sata 3 cables, I am new to the whole SSD thing but thought I would give it a shot.

I have a 1tb Harddrive, but only about 300gb of data on it, so I cloned the whole HDD to the SSD and after a few hours it was finished.

Now, when I boot up windows off the ssd everything works fine, I then went to test some games and wellll the computer freezes after about 5-10 minutes on games as easy as Minecraft, To fortnite, To my Steam Library. Apps like Chrome and Davincho Resolve (editing) work fine

I thought this was maybe a drive problem, so:

I updated my GPU drivers to the newest Amd 18.x driver. Didnt work

I updated the SSD driver, didnt work

Changed my Bios settings like disabling Intels ReadyBoot, And messed with other settings. Nope.

TLDR;

Nothing I seem to be doing works when I run a game + windows off the same ssd, then is followed by a crash and a red screen. Is there something I have done wrong with drive cloning, or could it be the SSD itself thats failing, or do I need to do like a RAID or something along those lines?

Not dealt with an SSD before and its been kinda a hassle so Im just using the HardDrive again for now.
