Clean install Win10

Guest
Go to solution Solved by Phentos,

Easiest and best way is to use Windows Media Creation tool to create a bootable environment for Windows setup on a USB flash drive with at least 8GB. The USB drive will be formatted, so transfer any data to a backup beforehand.

Make sure you have important data on your main system volume backed up, as the following will irrevocably destroy your data on your main OS partition. Data on other non-system drives will not be affected.

After having done this, you would set the USB flash drive as a priority in your boot order in BIOS. Boot via the USB and run setup. During setup there will be a screen showing current partitions on your drives. Select your main OS partition (usually volume 0) and delete it. Create a new partition on the same drive then continue on with setup and install Windows as normal.

Yup. The WMC writes to whatever drive you specify and will run regardless of whether you have Windows installed or not.
