Help with laptop choice

Looking to buy a new laptop here soon, been looking at the helios 500 with the i9 in it, but I want to be able to run demanding games like Witcher 3(with visual mods) and FFXV with at least a constant 60 fps. Any recommendations out there? Price point is about 2500-3000. I like the thermals, software, and port options of the helios 500,but I'm not sure if it can handle what I want it to. Question... Why a laptop when you can get a really good desktop for that price point?

Should've said that, I have a damn good desktop, but I work in the oilfield and want to take my games on the go. Also need it for Microsoft office and such but that's irrelevant for this I guess.

Don't care about weight or battery life because it'll be plugged in 99% of the time. And yes $2500 in American money.

For this budget I'll suggest Clevo P775 from HIDevolution or ObsidianPC

Cannot handle the heat of i9. Go for this with guaranteed OCed 8700K
