Samsung SSD using microsoft driver

I have a 960 evo. In device manager for some reason it is called "NVMe Samsung SSD 960 SCSI Disk Device". When i right click on it and go to properties then driver it shows the driver is made by Microsoft. I already installed the Samsung NVME driver. I am also concerned that it has the weird name. It didn't have that name before.

As far as I understand, the driver is only really meant to be used to windows is unable to use it's driver for whatever reason.

On some older systems the driver is required to boot/install when using a M.2-PCIe adaptor.
