Memory for a B450

Are the AMD boards still sensitive to what memory is used? I'm looking for memory for an ASRock B450M PRO4. There's cheaper memory but the info on them all say for Intel chipsets.

As far as I know, memory compatibility is a lot better than it was when Ryzen first launched.

 

You could check your motherboard's QVL for memory that's guaranteed to work.

but why B450 Pro4 when the B350 Pro4 has the same hardware, only different chipsets while being cheaper? Neither boards are that good, so might as well get the cheaper one.
