M.2 SSD Showing Up in Windows but not BIOS

HalloweenJack

I recently purchased a Intel 760p Series M.2 SSD. While it works just fine as a drive in windows, when I load up the BIOS for my MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard it doesn't show up, so I can't use it as a boot drive. I'm kinda new to this so I was wondering if there was any input I could get to sort this out. Let me know if I should provide more info. Thanks

I've tried updating the BIOS, but there's a different issue with that preventing me from updating it.

you need to update the bios to boot from that drive, so get a sata drive, or update your bios.
