BIOS detects my boot drive, but it wont boot.

Slayer1982

It'll show up in the bios, but it also says it isn't bootable in Gigabyte's "Easy Mode" bios thing. Ive tried shifting it to a new sata port and ive change cables around. Please help :/

Is there an OS on it?

You need to install e.g. windows first.

Thanks for replying. Windows 10 Pro is installed. It was working fully in my other PC. I need it in this new one though.

Does it maybe have multiple partitions? If so, make sure you boot from the right one.

Did you have anything like a dual boot installed?

Can you try manually booting from it by e.g. pressing f12 on boot to manually select a drive?

And if all that doesn't work, then first make sure it still works by plugging it in your old pc again if possible.

Also, did you have multiple drives in your system, do you have the right one?

Alright, here's what i got.

I dont have multiple partitions, i tried manually booting - it only said enter setup, i cant plug it into the old pc - it would be a nightmare to do it again, and ive only got one drive in the system.

Thanks again for your help.
