Audio-Technica ATHM-30's

I bought these yesterday from Amazon for $37 US and was wondering if they are any good for gaming (ArmA 2, dayZ) I know that they are really good for music but not against the ATH-m 50's but do you think I got a good deal I was torn between these and Sennheiser HD201 and what do you all think of my choice? I am using these for everything from gaming to music to team speak.

If a pair of headphones are good for Music, they are also good for gaming, movies and anyting else. They are simply good.

if theyre similar to the M50, the sound stage is narrow which isnt good for fps games. if youre play rts or mmo's, youll be okay. the sound quality is great on the M50. not sure about the M30

Well the M30's I have been using them for 2 days now and they are very good, not as good as my friends M50's or his dad's BOSE in games or music but they are still very very good for the $37 I paid for them, The cord is very good quality doesn't detach tho so that might be a problem with them later on if the cord every breaks and it is a bit too long (12 feet) for where my PC is and using them for walking around town with. The sound in ArmA 2 and dayZ is better than my old Triton's tho and I thought that to be odd since they where a 5.1 surround plugged into my Creative sound blaster and these are not 5.1 but are still plugged into the sound card. If you have the money go for the M50's they are a bit more comfortable and have better sound but if you have $40 and they are still on sale go for these M30's they beat the hell out of the Sennheiser HD201 in everything (I bought them for a friend since they where under $20)
