Hey, To start I have an Asus Z370-E mobo and an 8700k OC to 5.1 with 1.4v. Is that too much voltage? should I back it down to 5.0 1.350v? Too much meaning is it just not safe to run that much voltage in general? As much as I love having 5.1, I just dont wanna cause any damage or anything. Any Input is greatly appreciated, THANKS!

5.1 vs 5.0 is only 1-2% difference, it's really not worth it for the extra heat and lower longevity..

also if you could go lower than 1.35v on 5.0 then do that :) even though 1.35 is good, but maybe your chip can do lower voltage.

personally i wouldnt go higher than 1.35v for daily usage
