Ok so i want a a good pc but not that expensive so this is what I got:

Cpu:Intel I5-8400

Gpu:Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1070

Ram:2x8 gb ram 2600mhz ddr4

Storage:WD blue 1 tb

Storage:Intel optane 32 gb

Ssd: wd black m.2 250gb ssd

Case:Corsair crystal series 280x

Cooling:Nzxt kraken x52

But I didn't choose a case or power supply but it will be 550w and motherboard of z370 chipset

So my questions are:

1: is there any bottlenecks?

2: is it a good system of 1440p gaming AAA titles?

Update:

250gb wd black m.2 ssd

Gtx 1070 instead of 1060

1. Seems pretty balanced in CPU/GPU.  Not sure why you're going last gen CPU, price is better?

2.  No.  1060 6GB won't do 1440p all that well with settings cranked.

What's your budget?  Where are you located?

You're not using an SSD, just the Optane?  PSU is a bit more than you need.   RAM is slower than I'd get too.

It'll game fine, but little things could be improved.

If he's going to go with a 750W PSU he might be planning to SLi in the future, if your wanting maxed 1440p you should go with a 100 if you can fit it in the budget or an RX580 8gb maybe.

Honestly, now isn't the best time to buy a new PC. Nvidia is going to release their new GPUs soon, so you should wait for them to come out, and see if you would want one. Even if you choose not to get one, there should be some price drops on older crads.

For your list itself, it has some issues. It would be nice to know your budget, so I could make a list for you, but i'll try anyways.

Here is a build that comes in at just over $1000 USD. It's quite different from your build, because I fixed a couple issues, incuding:

1. Optane is a waste of money.

2. The i5 7600K is outdated, overpowered for gaming, and has no real upgrade path (Z270 isn't compatible with Z370)

3. Your PSU is too much wattage.

4. You need an SSD.

5. The 1060 won't be able to push 1440p.

SLI sucks, and scales terribly in games. The RX580 preforms the same as a 1060 6GB, if not slightly worse in some titles.

Eh, for this system, I don't think so. He's going to be playing games at 1440p, so he'll want higher single core/thread speeds.

I agree with this except for one thing. I think the G. Skill 16GB 3200 is the same price as that 3000 memory.  UNless that's the RGB crap?

Case is subjective, so no comment.  Gotta look at the thing, so get what you like looking at.

Well rounded build gets you a 1070Ti which will definitely do very well in 1440p games, a solid CPU, memory, SSD + HDD, and a good PSU.

For only wondering, I went with the 650 watt one because it was the same price as the 450 version.
